Print Lead Quick Guide

As a print lead you will play an important role assigning work to your teams to ensure progress continues efficiently across the Press and Print & DM workflows.

Work Items and Tasks will be created by Account Managers and assigned to you, for you to then allocate directly to team members.

To learn more about the context of your role within either workflow, use the workflow diagrams{{Workflow Diagrams}}.

To assign work items, follow these steps:

Step 1
Find the work items requiring work on your homepage  in the work items assigned to me section and then click to open it.

Step 2
From the Details tab you can use the Assigned to dropdown menu to assign the work to the relevant team member.


Step 3
From the same page, you must then change the work item status to Allocated and click Save.

After this, the team member will pick up the work item, complete the work and update in the system.

You can access training and help directly within the platform, by clicking the blue Help icon on the right side of the page.  We've set up training tasks tailored to your role. 
Access these from the training tab of the Help menu and you will be guided step by step through different tasks. These tasks will get crossed off as you complete them. You can replay them whenever you need to as well as access other content from the Help Menu.
