Enabling Logging for Sendplus (Windows)

Since logging is not switched on by default, here is the procedure for collecting Sendplus logs for Windows users:

  • Open the Sendplus preferences pane by clicking the cog icon in the bottom left hand corner.
  • On the keyboard use the keyboard shortcut ctrl(control)-1 to open a hidden panel called Logging Control

This should open up a hidden panel called 'Logging Control' (see screenshot below)

  • Select the Enable Logging checkbox

From now on testing should occur and if you'd like to access the logs, press the Reveal logs location where the latest log will be called Sendplus.log

When logging stops (when 'enabled' logging checkbox is unselected, or user logs-out/exits Sendplus), the current log gets date-stamped. The next time logging starts, a new senplus.log is created.

The Sendplus logs are kept in the below stated location on a Windows Machine (You need to be sure that you turn on the 'Show hidden files and folders' view to allow you to access this location on a windows machine. However, when accessing them via the Reveal logs location button in Sendplus you don't need to action the above process): 


In addition to the Sendplus log file we would also require your Sendplus history log file which is attainable in a similar location:

    Hi Asha,

    Just noticed a little typo

    The slashes in C:/Users/Username/AppData/Local/Sendplus/logs need to be the other way for Windows

    It would be worth also mentioning we need the files/folders from C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Sendplus\history\
